Partnership Suggestions

The following are some suggested ways in which you and your church can partnership with Lenawee County Mission:

• Bible Study – As a pastor, you or an associate from your church can lead Bible Study in our LifeChange or Fresh Start Programs. This can be monthly or every other month.
• Volunteers – Your chuch can provide volunteers to help our emergency shelter by sending and/or preparing a meal to server to the homeless.
• Donated Goods – You can do a “canned food drive” to collect coats, clothing, and hygiene products.
• Transportation – Volunteers from your church can help transport men to job interviews/searches as well as church worship services.
• Mentoring – Volunteers from your church can help our men develop relationship/social skills through mentoring programs,
• Small Groups – Your church can adopt our men as a “small group” for a variety of educational and discipleship programs.
• Service Projects – Your church can assist us with various community service projects; or maybe your church has a project that could include our men.
• Retreats – Your church could offer and/or include our men in a retreat activity to advance their spiritual development.
• Recreation – Your church could offer opportunities for recreational activity for our men.
• Study Materials – Your church can donate unused Bibles, curriculums, study materials for our men to use.
• Speaking/Testimonies – You can invite me and/or the men to your church to speak and share testimonies.
• Financial Contributions – Your church can support us as its local mission outreach through monthly monetary giving.
• Board Membership – You may have someone in your church who may be a prospect for our board membership
• Prayer-Prayer-Prayer!
• Other ideas you might have.
